Terms of Service
Effective August 21, 2026. Draft Depot (“we,” “the app”). Texas law.
1. The product
Draft Depot is a fantasy sports, sports news, and editorial-picks product. It is entertainment. It is not a sportsbook, bank, broker, money transmitter, or gambling operator. No real-money bets are placed here. You must be 18 or older to create an account. If you are in a place that sets a higher age for fantasy or sweepstakes-style virtual currency, that higher age applies. We confirm age in the app before purchases.
2. Not affiliated with the leagues
Draft Depot is an independent product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or licensed by the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NCAA, or any club, player, or players’ association. Team names and abbreviations appear as nominative fair use so you can tell which club a score or roster belongs to. Team badges and event artwork come from TheSportsDB under their paid artwork license and are shown as-is. Player photos come from Wikimedia Commons files whose licenses allow commercial reuse, with photographer credit. We do not sell player likenesses or print them on merch.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for your login. Do not share passwords. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, cheat contests, harass other users, scrape the app, or try to cash out Bobble Bucks. You can delete your data in Settings. Deleted accounts forfeit unused Bucks except where law requires otherwise.
4. Memberships — what you pay for
Entitlements are enforced on the server. A badge in the UI is not access. Free: the top 2 Locks of the week, a short preview, a High / Medium / Risky label, ads on Locks, one daily spin, and the rest of the app (fantasy, Lab, scores, news). Premium ($4.99/mo): 5 full write-ups, a 1–10 confidence score, most of Insights, no ads on Locks, 40 Bobble Bucks each week. Premium Plus ($7.99/mo): the whole weekly slate (usually 7–10 locks), all of Insights, insight news reads, Trade Analyzer and waiver wire, a second daily spin, Plus cosmetics, 15% off Rewards store items priced in Bobble Bucks, 80 Bobble Bucks each week. That Rewards discount does not apply to real-money Bobble Buck packs. Paid access is checked on the server on every request. Canceling turns off renewal; you keep the plan you paid for until the period ends.
5. Auto-renewal (including California)
Membership is a recurring monthly subscription. It renews automatically at the price shown until you cancel. Cancel in Store at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. You keep everything you paid for until the period ends. Each paid period is 30 days. We show the plan name, price, length, and cancel path before you pay. You must check a box confirming renewal. Cancel in Store. If you cancel, you keep every paid perk until the period ends — we do not strip access the minute you tap cancel. Restore Purchases re-applies a valid receipt for the remaining paid window.
6. Bobble Bucks
Bobble Bucks are a licensed virtual currency for use only inside Draft Depot. They have no cash value, are not redeemable for money, and are not transferable out of the app except as we expressly allow. Weekly membership grants land once per ISO week while the plan is active. Unused Bucks are forfeited if you delete your account, except where law requires otherwise.
7. Contests and wagers
Head-to-head wagers and Lab contests spend Bobble Bucks only. There is no cash payout and no conversion to fiat. These are skill contests using fantasy scoring, not chance wagers against the house. Draft Depot may void a wager that looks like abuse or a client error. Locks are editorial insight, not bets we place for you. This product is intended to fall outside the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act’s definition of a bet or wager because Bucks are not redeemable for money.
8. Daily spin
The daily spin is a free promotional game of chance for virtual prizes with no cash value. No purchase is necessary. Odds and official rules are on the Sweepstakes page. 18+ only. Void where prohibited.
9. In-app purchases
Optional purchases are sold through the App Store, Google Play, or our web checkout (Stripe when live; sandbox cards in preview). Prices are shown before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple ID, Google Play account, or card at confirmation. All sales of virtual items are final except where Apple, Google, Stripe, or law requires a refund.
10. Live data
Scores come from The Odds API and, as a fallback, TheSportsDB, as listed on Sources. Team badges and event art come from TheSportsDB. Player photos come from Wikimedia Commons files that allow commercial reuse. Those providers allow this kind of consumer sports app on the plans we named. We do not use ESPN unofficial JSON, Sleeper, Google News RSS, or NPR feeds. News headlines and insight reads are written by us in our own words from licensed scores, licensed artwork, and public facts. We do not host full third-party articles. We do not guarantee completeness, delay, or correctness. Optional insight news reads use xAI when a key is configured. Player names, teams, positions, and scores are facts. We do not claim a league or players’ association license.
11. Records and no guarantees
The Locks win–loss board only counts picks we have graded after the game is final. We do not advertise a historical win rate we did not earn in this product. Sample or look-ahead cards are labeled as such. A past result does not promise a future result. Locks can lose. Membership is sold for write-ups and tools, not for a promised return.
12. User content
Chat, trades, lineups, and display names are your content. You grant us a worldwide license to host and display that content inside the app so the product can run. Don’t post illegal, hateful, or sexual content involving minors. We may remove it and report it.
13. Responsible use
If gambling is a problem, call 1-800-GAMBLER (1-800-426-2537) or visit ncpgambling.org. Locks are a read, not a ticket. We do not accept real-money wagers.
14. Copyright / DMCA
To send a DMCA notice: privacy@playdraftdepot.com with the URL, a description of the work, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are the owner or agent. We will remove material we believe infringes.
15. Disclaimers and liability
Draft Depot is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law we are not liable for lost Bucks, missed lineups, outages, or third-party data errors. Picks can lose. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50, whichever is greater. Some states do not allow certain limitations; in those states our liability is limited to the maximum permitted.
16. Changes and law
We may update these terms. Continued use after a notice in the app means you accept the new terms. Governing law: Texas, USA, except where your local consumer law says otherwise. If a section is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
